 AFG offers fully guided "fair chase" hunts for trophy Brown Bear, Mountain Goat, Black Bear, Dall Sheep and Moose in the remote areas of the Talkeetna and Chugach Mountains of Southcentral Alaska, as well as in Prince William Sound.

We are all about getting you what you came for... great hunting in some of the most beautiful country Alaska has to offer.  We only take a limited number of hunters to ensure you get a quality experience and customize each of our hunts to what best suits your needs.  And though we don't run a lodge-based business,  our equipment and guide service are top notch.  We live year round in the area we hunt- which gives us the great advantage of knowing where to find the game and how the population is doing. Let me tell you a little bit about myself:  My name is Ben Stevenson- I was born in Alaska and raised in the heart of the Talkeetna Mountains.  I had the privilege of growing up in the lifestyle of big game guiding, trapping, dog mushing, bush flying, and  living in Alaska's bush.  I am a registered guide/outfitter, trapper and a commercially licensed pilot.

 My wife and I prefer the independence and quiet lifestyle that Alaska's backcountry has to offer.  We try to spend as much time in the bush, and keep as far away from town and the city life, as we can.  I have had a lifetime of experience in getting around in the mountains and finding game.  It gives me great pleasure and pride to have the opportunity to give people a taste of what Alaska is all about.
