 Guided Dall Sheep Hunt

Our Dall Sheep hunts start August 10th and end September 20th.  These hunts are conducted in game management units 13 and 14 of interior Alaska, in the Talkeetna and Chugach mountains.  Access to these hunting areas is provided by our PA-18 Super Cub which is well equipped to handle these operations. From there all hunting is done on foot with a backpack.

This is truly a backpack hunt and things are kept light for obvious reason.  All camps and equipment are of highest quality.  Shelter is provided by a 4-season 4-man mountain tent.  Food consists of mostly Mountain House, candy bars, and other assorted goodies.

These hunting areas are pretty rugged compared to some of Alaska's other areas, but hold some of the finest sheep in Alaska, which have both good horn mass as well as length.  They make a fine trophy.  Sheep taken over the last few years average 38".

If you want to go on a Dall Sheep hunt, your physical ability plays a big role in the success of the hunt... so be prepared and don't let that last hundred yards keep you from your dream come true.
